Re-Designing Financial Aid to Set Up Students for Success

This event has passed.
This webconference, the second in our series for directors of financial aid, reviews specialized financial aid programs that prepare students for on-time completion from day one by linking aid to success behaviors.

About the Webconference

It’s not news that financial aid helps students complete their degree by meeting need and helping them focus on their studies rather than working for pay. However, financial aid also has the largely unexplored potential to reduce non-financial attrition by guiding student behavior towards activities known to correlate with success. Innovative aid program design can realize a double persistence dividend by both mitigating a student's need and, for example, incenting academic behavior that will help a student complete on time.

This webconference, the second in our series for directors of financial aid, reviews specialized financial aid programs that prepare students for on-time completion from day one by linking aid to success behaviors. Members attending the session will walk away with practical ideas for program design and an understanding of common roadblocks in implementing these innovative aid programs.
