While the higher ed industry has largely recovered from COVID-era layoffs and returned to pre-pandemic staffing levels, the number of roles that institutions have sought to fill has grown almost 300% in the last two years and staff turnover rates on many campuses have hit 10-15%. At the same time, campuses are experiencing widespread faculty and staff disillusionment and burnout.
