Amanda Wahlander is a seasoned financial aid optimization principal with deep expertise in crafting financial aid policy and strategy that align with institutional goals while maximizing net tuition revenue. She specializes in uncovering data-driven insights that inform enrollment strategies and ensure financial aid is deployed with optimal efficiency and impact.

Since joining the firm in 2012, Amanda has served in a variety of roles spanning data analysis, visualization, and strategic consultation. Her tenure has also included more than a decade of managing the firm’s net price calculator product, ensuring it remains a vital and effective recruitment tool for both institutions and prospective students.

Amanda’s own undergraduate experience attending a small, rural college instilled a lasting belief in the transformative power of a well-rounded liberal arts education as a cornerstone of American democracy. Outside of work, Amanda is a mom of three energetic kids who keep her running (and questioning her sanity) on a daily basis. When she manages to escape them, she loves getting lost in a good book, traveling to new places, and reconnecting with her closest college friends.
