Brendan Mannix has over 18 years of experience building technology products. As Vice President of Engineering at EAB, Brendan leads software engineering teams for Student Success platforms including Navigate: Strategic Care and Starfish. With his deep experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle, Brendan was able to optimize, modernize, and scale our engineering practices which has resulted in a >10x increase in software quality and increased predictability in release timelines.

Before joining EAB, Brendan led software development teams for Shape Security (acquired by F5), a cyber security startup based in Mountain View, California. Earlier in his career, Brendan worked on software products at the Library of Congress, and startups in consumer electronics, network monitoring and fiber optical telecommunications.

Brendan lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife Angela and his two children, Elise and Max.
