
Brittany Motley, Ph.D.
Director, Research Advisory Services
Dr. Brittany Motley has 18 years of experience in higher education, beginning as an instructional counselor and developmental math instructor before advancing to Executive Director for student support services. She later served as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs at a Historically Black University, where she assisted with accreditation renewal. In 2017, Brittany transitioned to consulting, allowing her to work with 2-year and 4-year institutions to build public-private partnerships and foster strategic ecosystems for change.
An expert in leading change, Brittany recently supported 23 AASCU institutions in equity-focused leadership development. She also served as Director of Research and Evaluation at Year Up United, researching workforce development outcomes and career readiness to strengthen pathways to economic mobility.
Motivated by a deep commitment to social justice, Brittany specializes in change management and leadership theory, ensuring systemic barriers are dismantled and replaced with structures that create equitable opportunities for minoritized populations.
Brittany holds a bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics, an MBA, and an MS in Computer Science from Kentucky State University, and a PhD in Leadership and Change from Antioch University.
