Emily Mittermaier

Strategic Leader

As a Strategic Leader, Emily partners with institutions to align their strategic goals to workflows and processes in Starfish that support their students, create efficiencies for faculty and staff, and drive institutional change. Emily works primarily with two-year state systems with a focus on Guided Pathways.

Emily has worked in education technology for over 12 years, implementing and supporting more than 100 institutions on a wide range of technologies including, degree planning, student success platforms, CRM, virtual orientation, application, and prospect management. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and has earned a certificate in Project Management from Northwestern University.

Emily is an avid traveler and enjoys documenting her journeys through photography. She volunteers regularly for animal rescue transport and enjoys spoiling her three cats.
