Erik Candy provides business intelligence leadership in the development of the Student Success Collaborative (SSC). The initiative combines technology, consulting and best practice research to help colleges and universities leverage real-time data to measure and optimize intervention effectiveness, and ultimately improve retention and graduation rates, degree efficiency, staff efficiency, and student experience.
Erik and his team provide administrators with customized change management strategies to support institutional transformation. Before joining EAB in 2013, Erik was a Senior Director of Business Intelligence (BI) at EAB’s former parent organization, the Advisory Board Company (ABC), helping to build and deliver best-in-class BI programs for measuring and inflecting new levels of performance in healthcare management and outcomes. Directly previous to his work with ABC, Erik was a Senior Consultant with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC)’s Consulting Group beginning in 1997. His industry experience spans chemical manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, hospitality services, mortgage servicing and telecommunication, and includes extensive work done internationally.
Erik earned his MBA from George Washington University and received a dual undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington in Economics and Business Administration.
