Kathy works closely with clients to optimize their financial aid awarding and operational policies to meet institutional enrollment and revenue goals. Her successful career as a financial aid administrator and enrollment manager spanned almost three decades and several different types of institutions. She also spent five valuable years on the other side of the desk, providing college finance expertise to families as an employee benefit that was free to employees and their dependents at over 150 companies nationwide. Through this work, she learned firsthand how students and families experience the complexities of college policies and communications.
In her spare time Kathy plays the oboe in a community band, is a British murder mystery buff, and enjoys spending time with her grown children and taking long walks around the lakes of Minneapolis with her husband and their retired sled dog.
Education
Kathy received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Carleton College and a Master of Public Administration degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
