His current research includes continuing and online education, specifically the impact of online program managers, and academic innovation in the professional and adult education space. His previous projects at EAB focused on the growth of the research enterprise.

Prior to EAB, Mac spent two years in the Adirondack Mountains of New York working as an outdoor educator.

Education

Mac earned his M.P.P. in Education Policy from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College in 2021. His focus was in K12 education policy, specifically teacher and workforce policy.

His B.S. in Elementary Education is from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also earned a minor in sociology and a certificate in education policy studies.
