Sally Amoruso serves as Chief Partner Officer for EAB and as the voice of EAB’s partners on the executive committee.
In this capacity, Sally also advises university presidents, provosts, cabinets, and boards and co-leads EAB’s work in supporting institutional strategy and strategic planning. She hosts EAB’s Presidential Experience Labs, bringing presidents to out-of-sector exemplars or exploring potential disruptive forces shaping the future of higher ed. She hosts EAB’s New Presidents Intensive which has supported 150+ presidents as they have transitioned into office. Additionally, she oversees EAB’s public-private partnership efforts to support economic mobility and racial equality for underrepresented minorities.
She is a frequent podcast host for EAB’s Office Hours and also leads EAB’s Industry Insights Speaker Series, bringing thought leaders to EAB for open discussion and debate. Sally is a passionate DEIJ advocate and part of EAB’s Steering Committee for VIVID, an innovative professional development program for rising leaders of color.
Prior to EAB, Sally spent 20 years leading mission-driven enterprises serving healthcare institutions addressing a variety of challenges and opportunities such as elevating patient experience, transforming physician-hospital partnerships, and more.
Sally is a first-generation Asian American and proud parent of two musician-actors who are currently launching their creative careers in Los Angeles.
Education
Sally received her AB in East Asian Studies from Harvard University, her MA in international studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and her MBA in international marketing from the Wharton Graduate School of Business.
