Thomas is passionate about empowering institutions to create efficient and effective practices that lower the cost of attendance, provide additional access, and improve student success rates. As a Strategic Leader, Thomas partners with academic leaders across the country and Canada to make data driven decisions that align institutional and Student Success Collaborative goals and priorities. Thomas finds motivation in being able to support institutions as they provide transformative educational experiences to their students.
Prior to joining EAB, Thomas served as an administrator in Student Success at the University of South Carolina. In this role, Thomas oversaw the universities residential bridge program, Sophomore Initiative, transfer student support, and various other programs focused on student success for special student populations. Thomas also served as an instructor for UofSC’s First Year Seminar and Graduation with Leadership Distinction programs.
In his free time, Thomas enjoys traveling, live music, and reading.
Education
Thomas holds a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education: Student Affairs in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University.
