What is the New Deans Intensive?
EAB’s New Deans Intensive (NDI) is a cohort-based leadership experience designed to support dean-level executives as they step into their roles at a pivotal moment for higher education. The program combines data-rich insights, research-informed strategies, and peer connection to help new leaders navigate economic pressures, shifting admissions practices, and an increased focus on equity and student success.

NDI is designed for new deans—including those serving in interim roles—who are actively transitioning into or have recently stepped into the position.

While NDI does not provide formal certification credits, it is a leadership-focused professional development experience focused on readiness, perspective, and practical preparation.
Is the in-person capstone required?
The in-person capstone is strongly encouraged; it is a central part of the experience and cohort value.
