About the Webconference
In this webconference, we discuss best practices in the area of supporting underrepresented minority and particularly low-income students on their journey to college. We will showcase examples of institutions and organizations who have made a commitment to remove non-academic barriers to students on their journey to college, in order to increase equity and improve students’ chances of enrolling at a higher education institution. We will also address popular issues such as college affordability, the “summer melt”, and navigating the complex admission process.
