Designing Programs for the Millennial Workforce

This event has passed.

About this Series

The average Millennial will have twice as many jobs as a Baby Boomer over the course of his or her professional life. This phenomenon has led many experts to predict an increased demand for short-format, “just-in-time” credentials, which will serve students throughout their careers. Despite COE units’ advantageous position as the only purveyor of short-format programs on campus, most COE leaders have not seen significant enrollment and revenue gains from certificates and other non-degree programs.

Recent trends also suggest that students are disinterested in lengthy, costly MBA programs. This has led many students to opt for COE-based management and leadership programs that combine the best of the MBA—a strong alumni network and an emphasis on personal exploration—with the affordable, quick-turnaround experience that defines COE programming.
