Enterprise Data Management Collaborative

EAB's Enterprise Data Management Collaborative develops and implements an enterprise-wide data strategy for higher ed institutions.

Stakeholders across the institution play essential roles in data management, involving tasks like data collection, analysis, and reporting. Unfortunately, disjointed data priorities and isolated governance efforts often lead to data quality and trust issues that impede decision-making.

Successful enterprise data management goes beyond forming a data governance committee. It entails crafting an enterprise data management strategy and garnering cross-campus stakeholder support for your strategic approach and governance processes.

For senior data leaders who have previously attempted enterprise data management efforts or want to launch a new initiative, EAB’s Enterprise Data Management Collaborative can help. The collaborative provides an expert-led curriculum that helps kickstart the development of a comprehensive data strategy and provides tactics to secure stakeholder buy-in and lead through change. During the collaborative, you will also have the opportunity to learn from peers and receive feedback on your plans.

Introducing EAB’s Enterprise Data Management Collaborative

EAB’s Enterprise Data Management Collaborative brings together campus data leaders to make meaningful progress toward developing a comprehensive data management strategy. Participants will work through a set curriculum, network with peers, and use EAB-designed workbooks to create a custom framework for executing on long-term data management goals.

Case Study: How Lewis & Clark College Improved Data Governance Through EAB’s Collaborative

Suggested titles: Institutional research director, business intelligence director, or similar role.

Your EAB Strategic Leader will be in touch with more information after you express your interest.

Why do we ask for both a Data Warehouse Lead and a Reporting Lead?

Effective enterprise data management implementation involves breaking down institutional silos associated with data accessibility, security, and reporting. The collaborative is designed to jumpstart this process by convening data leaders on campus who represent these distinct data functions.

"

It was so valuable to work with a colleague as we had different perspectives. I wanted data to be clean and accessible, and for my colleague it was about security. It underscores the importance of keeping this stuff integrated—we can’t be in silos.
