Preparing for the Math Leadership Lab: Research, Design, and Next Steps
Partner Event
This 60-minute webinar is designed to help District Leadership Forum partners prepare for EAB’s 2026 Math Leadership Lab before the implementation collaborative officially begins. Unlike the collaborative—a multi-session working experience focused on building plans, customizing resources, and preparing for implementation—this webinar provides a strong research foundation to help partners participate in the collaborative effectively from day one.
During this webinar, EAB expert, Jen Slavick, will share the key takeaways of EAB’s 2025 math research study, explain the design and expectations of the collaborative, and outline the steps teams should take before the first session to get the most value from the experience. The webinar will also provide time for participants to submit questions, helping teams close the school year with clarity about what comes next. This session is encouraged, but not required, to attend the Math Leadership Lab.
During this session, we will discuss:
- The key research and ideas shaping the Math Leadership Lab
- What your team can expect from the collaborative experience
- What to do before launch to ensure the strongest possible start
