Pre-college summer programs targeting high schoolers may serve enrollment, revenue, or access goals at an institution. This research presents lessons learned by relevant program directors and reviews what university leadership should consider when exploring or developing pre-college summer programs. The findings address target audiences, program design, staffing and infrastructure needs, and pricing, and are particularly relevant to small liberal arts colleges.
