Dr. R Fleming Puckett

Senior Director, Research Member Success

Fleming is a Senior Director on EAB’s Research Member Success Team. As the Senior Research Advisor for Advancement, Dr. Puckett presents and discusses EAB’s strategic research at national meetings, professional conferences, and on college campuses. Fleming works with a diverse range of audiences, including board members, deans, advancement officers, and higher-ed administrators in colleges, universities, and university systems.

Since joining the broader Advisory Board firm in 2013, Fleming has worked with over 300 institutions across the United States, Canada, and overseas on all aspects of philanthropy. He and his wife live in South Carolina with their toddler and two Old English Sheepdogs, one of whom is currently learning to be a retirement-home therapy dog. Fleming enjoys wine-tasting, croquet, and fly-fishing, dabbles in sailing, fencing, and fiction-writing, and is an aspiring bee-keeper.
