About Our Past Event

Competition for talent is at an all-time high, with many campus leaders reporting widespread vacancies and double-digit staff turnover rates. Most institutions have therefore doubled-down on external recruitment efforts. But in doing so, many leaders have overlooked or underestimated the opportunity to develop and advance the talent they already have on their campuses to address both retention and recruitment needs.

Session

In this session, participants will learn about next-level strategies with proven ROI for strengthening the internal talent pipeline and fostering career development and advancement for staff. We will share out-of-sector case studies, along with examples of how progressive higher ed institutions are adapting the corporate playbook and applying the underlying principles on their campuses.

This session is best suited for:

  • Vice Presidents, Enrollment Management
  • Vice Presidents, Student Affairs
  • Chiefs of Staff
  • Chief Business Officers

Registration for this session is limited to four attendees per institution.

*To optimize discussion between like-sized institutions, this meeting is recommended for institutions with more than 15k students. Registration for alternative dates can be found here.
