- Process-Mapping: A Tool for Stronger Workflows and Effective Student Outreach
- Refining Your Early Alerts Strategy: Evaluating and Enhancing Processes.
Attendees will get prepared for next term by taking a deep dive into their early alerts strategy and learning to deploy effective process mapping to improve student success-related workflows as well as evaluate impactful student outreach. Attendees will refine current strategies, identify areas of opportunity, make concrete plans, and leave with a process-mapping template that will serve as a tool for future workflows.

Associate Director, Technology Launch Consulting
Ginny Shepherd is an Associate Director on the Technology Launch Consulting Team for partners in the Student Success Collaborative (SSC). In her role, she works with leadership teams at 2-and 4-year institutions to lead the implementation of Navigate, EAB’s Student Success Management System (SSMS), in ways that help them achieve their unique student success goals. Her focus is on partners finding early value in Navigate through building product awareness, aligning goals with SSMS functionality and supporting change management.
Prior to joining EAB, Ginny worked in private and public institutions in the southeast where she managed first year transition programs and utilized data to inform retention and graduation initiatives that positively impacted student success metrics. In her free time, Ginny enjoys cooking, yoga and travel.Read Bio
Senior Strategic Leader
Michael has six years of professional experience in higher education at both the two year and four year levels. Previous institutions worked at include University of Missouri-Kansas City, Metropolitan Community College, Sam Houston State University, the University of Kansas, and the University of Missouri-Columbia. Currently, Michael works as a Strategic Leader at EAB helping institutions align Starfish processes with institutional strategic initiatives. Michael was recently selected to be a certified facilitator for his national fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha.
Michael attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an emphasis in interpersonal and public relations. Michael also attended the University of Missouri- Columbia where he earned a Master and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis.Read Bio
