Sustainability Focus Group for Senior Facilities Officers and Sustainability Directors: A Special Session on Climate Action Planning
A Climate Action Plan serves as an institution’s essential roadmap for achieving long-term reductions in greenhouse gases and harmful emissions. It signifies an institution’s commitment to progress and outlines actionable strategies across policy, research, facilities, and community engagement. Many institutions now prioritize Climate Action Plans over traditional sustainability plans to sharpen their focus.
Join EAB experts and peers to explore effective climate action-planning frameworks and best practices for campus implementation. By request, this session will provide an open forum for leaders to share what they are implementing, to discuss challenges, and receive insight and feedback from peers.
Participants will gain insights into the distinctions between climate action plans and sustainability plans, discover innovative initiatives from other campuses, and leave equipped with practical ideas and tactics for implementation.
