Unlocking the Power of People Analytics
Colleges and universities have been using student data to advance institutional goals around student success and retention and make smart investment decisions for years. Yet, few institutions have similarly tapped into their employee data to solve talent challenges, leading to wasted resources and missed opportunities. Without data-based visibility into their workforce, institutions can’t identify what talent initiatives they should prioritize, demonstrate their progress on their people-related goals, or track their return on investments in talent acquisition, development, or engagement.
During this session, EAB will outline the urgency for cabinet and HR leaders to start using people analytics to address talent challenges and drive progress on broader strategic goals. This presentation teaches the fundamentals of how to work with people data and conduct effective analyses, using four case studies of colleges and universities who have solved institution-wide talent challenges with people analytics practices. Attendees will also leave the session with tools and EAB resources to kickstart the use of people analytics on their campuses.
