2025 Executive Roundtable for Independent School Heads

Join EAB’s annual roundtable for heads of schools where you’ll have the opportunity to network and discuss shared challenges with peers and EAB experts in a focused, uninterrupted setting. During this in-person gathering, comprised of two half-days, attendees will discuss recent research on key strategic topics facing the sector. Agenda details are forthcoming.

Signals from Tomorrow: Understanding the Forces Reshaping Independent Schools

This session introduces why trend analysis matters for long-term school strategy, beginning with a framing discussion on how foresight strengthens institutional resilience. The session will include an examination of the forces reshaping independent school markets. EAB will identify the specific trends that will have the greatest impact on independent schools, giving Heads a clearer sense of where to focus their strategic attention.

School of the Future Design Workshops

These interactive workshops will help participants move from trend analysis into practical scenario design. To start, attendees will receive a deep dive into the evidence and implications of each trend introduced in the previous session. Then, participants will receive a primer on scenario planning, learning how it can be applied to test strategic assumptions and prepare for uncertainty. The group will engage in multiple scenario-based exercises, each focused on a distinct trend elevated by EAB research.

Event Details

We are excited to offer two date options in 2025, one in Washington, D.C., and one cohosted with Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, CA.

Audience: This event is limited to heads of school. Registration is limited to one attendee per institution.

For travel planning: The event will begin at 12:00 p.m. on the first day and adjourn at 12:00 p.m. on the second day. EAB will host a dinner for attendees following the first day of presentations in both locations.
