This session, first presented at the Autumn 2025 meeting at the University of Sheffield, will focus on unique challenges facing higher education institutions due to changes in international enrolment. Attendees will learn about opportunities to focus their international enrolment strategy through:

• Tracking costs of acquisition to evaluate trade-offs and maximize revenue
• Managing ballooning bursary and scholarship costs
• Developing and defining a healthy diversification strategy
• Building institutional maturity to avoid chasing after ‘the next China’
