Community colleges are seeing more students arrive with significant readiness gaps, challenging leaders to identify and address these issues effectively. Unfortunately, these student readiness challenges are here to stay for the foreseeable future. This session is designed to help your college prepare to tackle unfinished learning challenges.

Many leaders are witnessing the effects of disrupted K-12 learning—chronic absenteeism, rising DFW rates, and classroom disengagement—but the most significant impacts are still ahead. Students who were in elementary school during the pandemic will likely face prolonged readiness challenges when they reach college in the next 3-5 years.

During this session, we will unpack EAB’s latest research on student readiness, offering insights into how community college leaders can address these critical gaps today and into the next decade.
