Brad Shafer

Brad Shafer serves as Consultant and Principal with EAB, specifically focusing on the Advancement Marketing Services program, while assisting with all things Higher Ed. Advancement and building bridges across the EAB offering spectrum for universities and colleges of all sizes and type.  He supports the AMS Business Development Team and provides counsel for prospective and current partners.

Brad spent nearly 25 years in Higher Education Development/Fundraising and held leadership roles beginning in 2003, culminating with internal university work as the VP of advancement at the University of Louisville in 2020. He also has experience in Development Technology Sales and Hedge Fund Business Development. He served six years in the United States Air Force Guard and was honorably discharged, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Brad serves as VP on the Hidden Springs (ID) town council, has volunteered as a House Corporation Officer of the Phi Delta Theta Chapter at UN-L since 1996 and serves as a Trustee for the National Phi Delta Theta Foundation.
