Mariah Coughlin is a researcher on EAB's Advancement Forum team. With years of experience in data analysis and economics research, Mariah is primarily interested in using data to derive actionable insights for advancement leaders. Mariah’s work prior to joining EAB includes economic forecasting, causal analysis, university procurement, and lecturing introductory economic courses.
Education and the education industry have played an important role in Mariah’s professional and personal life. She hopes to contribute to the sustainability of higher education and closing the equity gap in education experiences and outcomes. Outside of work, Mariah enjoys hikes, trying out new recipes, and finding any opportunity to spend the day out on the water.
Mariah holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado Denver and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Central Florida.
