Prior to joining EAB, Matt bartended in and around D.C., and before that worked for AmeriCorps’ City Year program in Chicago where he served as an English language and grammar tutor for 7th graders. In his free time, Matt enjoys narrative storytelling in all its forms, whether it be movies, literature, TV, or video games. He is also a bit of a fitness fanatic, unwilling to entirely let go of his glory days as a collegiate rugby player. Matt continues his service to youth as part of Reach Incorporated’s College Mentorship Program.
Education
Matt attended the University of Mary Washington as part of the class of 2015, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus in medieval literature and concentration in creative writing. During his time at UMW, Matt played rugby, serving as President and Community Service chair for the club, served on the Honor Council for three years, and served as the Inter-Club Association President during his senior year.
