As a first-generation college student, Simone held fast to a quote by Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." This fueled Simone’s passion for education, both for herself, and for others, particularly those with disproportionately less access to education.
In her spare time, Simone can be found somewhere around the world, exploring distant countries, cultures and cuisines.
