Speakers: Pete Talbot and Brad Rathgerber
Schools across the nation are attempting to make an unprecedented transition to online delivery, but most teachers and schools are new to online instruction. This session is co-hosted by Brad Rathgeber, CEO and Head of School at One Schoolhouse, which has been delivering online education for more than a decade. One Schoolhouse offers more than 61 different courses to 159 different schools and provides intensive PD for teachers in online pedagogy.
This session will highlight the expertise that One Schoolhouse has amassed over the years and provide an opportunity for Q+A.
- What skills do teachers need to deliver online instruction effectively?
- What should daily online schedules look like?
- How should schools balance synchronous and asynchronous work?
- What works and doesn’t work for younger students when it comes to online instruction?
