Improve Communications from Deposit to Matriculation
Student recruitment does not end with deposit. Keeping admitted students engaged and informed through the summer is a responsibility of not just admissions and enrollment, but also housing, financial aid, the registrar’s office, and more. These offices send important communications across the summer, but they can be uncoordinated, unclear, or duplicative. To create a seamless enrollment experience from deposit to matriculation, institutions should conduct a comprehensive review of all communications in this time period, paying particular attention to timing, clarity, and inter-department coordination.
