To help leaders understand if they should pursue outsourcing relationships, we have developed this tool to help you determine the viability of outsourcing a function or sub-function on your campus. Use this worksheet to score qualitative factors about the function in question, like complexity of work, frequency of activity, and strategic value. After scoring each criterion, the final weighted score corresponds to the function’s or sub-function’s outsourcing viability.
