Over the last two decades, campus leaders have spent tens of millions of dollars on major enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other point solutions for data collection. More recently, they’ve started to invest more in data warehouses for data aggregation. However, many campus leaders question the return-on-investment of these endeavors.

In spite of the sophistication of the tools, these skeptics still consider themselves underserved in actual decision support and often struggle to obtain the data they need to improve their decision making.
