Faculty play a critical role in shaping the student experience, but they’re surprisingly absent from student success strategies. This means that academic leaders may be missing key allies.

The most important responsibility of individual faculty members is to enhance the student learning experience. Pedagogical innovations shown to improve student success are abundant on many campuses, but instructors often lack the training or the support needed to replicate those innovations in their particular context.
