Partner Spotlight: How Colorado State Improved Cybersecurity Compliance and IT Organization Design
Colorado State University (CSU) faced urgent cybersecurity compliance requirements tied to federal research funding and board-level deadlines, and leadership realized that change would require both organizational restructuring and campus-wide buy-in.
EAB helped CSU reframe cybersecurity as a competitive advantage and presented the national landscape and CMMC pressures to CSU’s President’s Cabinet, reinforcing the why behind cybersecurity alignment. As a result of these customized sessions and other EAB resources, CSU secured approval for a new IT operating model that aligned with CMMC standards, protected ~$170M in research funding, and strengthened institutional security and resilience.
