Past Events In Series
Embedding APS on Campus as a Department Chair
In this bonus session, we'll have a discussion with Matthew Costello, Department Chair of History and Political Science at Saint Xavier University. Matthew will share how he led the initiative to embed APS on campus to make data-informed decisions, such as in their annual review process.
Submitting Faculty Line Requests
The final session will bring together analyses covered in previous sessions of the series. Users will learn how to locate critical metrics in the APS Platform to support their faculty line requests, such as relative growth of the department and how well current resources are utilized.
Prioritizing Courses to Improve Course Completion
During the third session, we will demonstrate how to identify opportunities to promote student progress. Users will learn how to navigate key analyses on the Students tab, such as viewing trends in final grades and pinpointing section variation in course completion rates.
Planning Course and Section Offerings
In the second session of the series, we will highlight opportunities to align course offerings with student demand. Users will learn how to identify opportunities to reallocate resources from underfilled sections to high demand areas, such as bottlenecks.
