Northampton’s Institutional Research team faced a yearly scramble: IPEDS reporting required too much manual work tracking data across multiple systems. As Steph Druckenmiller, Executive Director of Enterprise Technologies, noted: “It used to take two people weeks to piece together the IPEDS submission from scratch every year.”

In a 10-day sprint, Edify and Northampton’s teams collaborated to templatize 10 IPEDS reports, align Workday data to federal definitions, and create automated exports ready for review and submission. As a result, the team automated 10 IPEDS-aligned reports and Northampton submitted their validated IPEDS report on time.
