Dr. Vashae Dixon serves as a Senior Director within EAB’s Research Advisory Services, where she partners with college and university executives to tackle their most pressing strategic challenges. In this role, she leads high-impact research initiatives, advises leadership teams across the higher education landscape, and ensures EAB’s insights are translated into meaningful, measurable results.
A trusted thought partner to cabinet-level leaders, Dr. Dixon brings deep expertise in enrollment strategy, institutional effectiveness, and student success. She helped shape EAB’s Enrollment Analytics Portfolio, which empowers institutions to assess and refine enrollment strategies through a data-driven lens that reflects today’s evolving market dynamics.
Dr. Dixon plays a lead role in supporting universities through strategic planning and Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) efforts. She works alongside cross-functional leadership teams to design and implement long-term strategies aligned to institutional mission and market position. Her approach emphasizes shared decision-making, operational clarity, and institutional alignment—often helping to build consensus where it previously did not exist. Whether facilitating a cabinet-level planning retreat or guiding academic deans through resource prioritization, Dr. Dixon’s work bridges research, strategy, and execution.
Prior to joining EAB, Dr. Dixon spent many years student affairs leadership, where she focused on leadership development, professional staff coaching, and organizational performance. This foundation continues to inform her collaborative, people-centered approach to institutional change.
Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Dixon earned her BA in Corporate and Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University, her MA from the University of Mississippi, and her PhD in Human Capital Development from the University of Southern Mississippi.
