This is part one of our two-part series designed to help senior university leaders respond to growing costs and market uncertainty with resilience.

Higher education faces immense financial challenges as the sector grapples with rising costs, disrupted markets, and an uncertain political climate. In our two-part series, EAB will unpack essential revenue growth opportunities to respond to financial uncertainty, leveraging data analysis and vetted case studies to evaluate the likelihood and magnitude of increased institutional funding across four of the largest revenue streams for most institutions.

This series will have immense value to any college or university leader with a desire to contextualize their institution’s financial circumstances within the industry’s general condition, as well as those leaders looking to brainstorm new or revitalized efforts to expand their revenue intake.

Part 1: Evaluate Enrollment Growth and Alternative Revenues

In the first session of The Financial State of the Sector series, EAB experts will look at enrollment trends through a financial lens. Participants will explore updated and segmented data on undergraduate, graduate, online, and international student markets, as well as evaluations of different strategies to improve net tuition revenue. This session will also unpack the viability of expanding or launching various alternative revenue pursuits, including auxiliaries and campus space deployment.
