About the Webconference
Course fill rates are a critical measure of efficiency when making academic resource allocation decisions. However, fill rates are only accurate if course enrollment can be compared to a true maximum enrollment capacity (max cap). Unreliable max caps prevent institutions from determining to what extent existing capacity is fully utilized. We’ve found max caps to be inconsistent and unreliable across the APS Collaborative, due to both a lack of comprehensive policy for setting class sizes and a lack of policy enforcement.
This webconference provides both insights and tactical support to build and implement an effective max cap policy and improve reliability of fill rates. Join us to learn how to diagnose the cause of unreliable max caps at your institution and strategies to put a sustainable policy in place.
