EAB New Executive Intensives

EAB's New Executives Intensives are designed to support successful leadership transitions across K-12 and higher education.

EAB’s New Executives Intensives support incoming education leaders in making a successful transition into office and quickly understanding the key opportunities and challenges ahead.

Stepping into a new role is a professional challenge under normal circumstances. Add to that the myriad considerations that come with the past few years (the pandemic, faculty and staff burnout, racial tensions, enrollment challenges, and increasing financial pressures), and the transition can be particularly daunting.

EAB is pleased to host our New Executives Intensives, designed to support successful leadership transitions across higher education. The first series for presidents and provosts was held in the summer of 2020 and has expanded since. To date, more than 300 executives have participated.

The New Executives Intensives is a series of weekly two-hour convenings focusing on key priorities contextualized by EAB’s deep research and data with separate tracks for presidents, provosts, and other executives interested in leadership positions. The discussions are facilitated by EAB subject matter experts and thought leaders and include special guest speakers, such as current and past industry leaders.
