Use this resource to track student intern projects and keep record of current and past student intern information.
Many advancement teams launched student internship programs to develop and grow their own future fundraisers. However, shops often don’t have enough entry-level positions available to hire their interns upon graduation. The lack of entry-level positions can make it difficult to see an immediate return on investment from a student internship program.
To maximize the ROI of a student internship program, advancement needs to effectively track former student interns so they can be proactively recruited when positions become available.
When a position becomes vacant, use the Student Internship Tracker to identify the strongest candidates from previous internship program participants and reach out to them using the contact information maintained in the tracker.
