DEIJ Resource Library for Higher Ed Advancement

A Compendium of Self-Education Resources for Fundraisers

This compendium of resources will help higher ed advancement shops self-educate to build more inclusive teams and have more fruitful conversations with stakeholders on DEIJ.

College and university advancement shops excel at getting smart quickly to have quality conversations on what donors and alumni care about most. Campus stakeholders expect advancement teams to know proper terminology, history, and how to speak about the ways their area of interest is being addressed at the institution. Nowhere has that been more important, particularly across the past year, than on the topics of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ).

Advancement leaders should use this list of resources collected from their peers across EAB’s spring 2021 roundtable series to help educate themselves and their teams on these subjects. This will help shops build more inclusive teams and better prepare for conversations with stakeholders for whom these topics are important.

Compendium of DEIJ resources

This compendium shares diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice resources that have been especially meaningful to EAB Advancement Advisory Services partners on their education journeys. Expand each content type to start exploring the resources.
