For a year and a half, higher education has dealt with an unprecedented crisis that touches on every aspect of the institution. In crises such as this, much of the long-term, strategic thinking is replaced by the day-to-day crisis management and it takes a communal mindset shift to approach the future intentionally. In this session, first shared with institutional presidents and now available to vice presidents of research, participants will learn how to shift away from the crisis mentality of the last year and toward long-term strategic thinking and resilience. Our experts will present specific strategies to avoid falling prey to crisis thinking and to build organizational resilience, within your research team and with colleagues on the cabinet.
