Following a Professional & Adult Education Forum presentation on opportunities in the health care field, COE leaders at the University of Maryland-Baltimore Country requested the Forum’s help deciding if they should launch a professional master’s degree in health information technology.

The Professional & Adult Education Forum’s market research service provided UMBC with employer demand data and actionable advice to successfully launch a degree program that aligned with faculty research interests, employment demand among regional health care providers, and the requirements of legislation such as the Affordable Care Act.
